condotown
what do you guys think of it?how much lower do you think the dollar can fall? Is this a good time to be buying real estate in thailand? I considered you to be one of the most adept and clever people on TF dealing with these topics. I rely on your words of wisdom in these times of uncertainty. Everything is cyclical, so this is the right or wrong time to buy depending on where you jump off the cycle. I'm pleased that I brought most of my assets to Thailand and put them in real estate already..... But I may be regretting it five or ten years from now. You can't count out a recovery of the US economy and dollar, but it won't bounce back overnight.
friendlyCat
commodities, and foreign markets are popular now, but the question is when or if they are over-sold. Some think that the US dollar is now undervalued, it already has taken such a beating. I guess that those trillion dollar wars will do that to a country. Not to mention ignoring the rules on qualifying for lending.
hbkbkk
i think the us dollar and stock market is a good buy now. i am double down on equity and large cap. I just bought a lot of msft, qqqq, and dia. as for real estate in thailand. the us dollar is hurting me. cause i order that 12 condos that will be completed soon and i will have to transfer the full amount from america. I am still making money of them cause i got during presale 2 years ago. so if anyone want to buy any luxury condo let me know. I owns a lot of them in prime location. whateverforever
I bought TTF the moment I heard about lifting the capital controls. I'm in at 12.40. Now I hear gambling will be brought to Thailand, in my opinion this is more good news and probably time to double my position. Silver is my other big bet. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=ttf

I think any rally in the three stocks you bought will be short lived. You are supposed to buy high and sell higher. Those three are in severe downtrends. Who knows when the bottom will come?
