Years ago there was an office of Thailand BOI or whatever in Chicago for promoting investment in Thailand. Anyway, you can surely find a Thai temple in Chicago somewhere. Go there on weekend or evenings and look for bulletin boards. Weekends they might have food and stuff on Saturday afternoon. Otherwise ask one of the monks.
