For those of you that don't know George Best he was a Football (soccer) legend years ago and recently passed away. He lived a colourful life and here are some gems of wisdom from the man himself:

My view on marriage?

Cry a lot
I cry at funerals, soppy films, anything. It's a strength not a weakness. Bottling up emotions and hiding them is unhealthy
No regrets
I've made a lot of mistakes, but mistakes are a good thi
I've always been a big fan of boxing, I remember the good old days staying up late on a Saturday night watching Boxing with my dad. I grew up in an area where Boxing was a very popular sport and I would see quite a few professional boxers as well as ex championship boxers in the neighbourhood. Growing up I used to keep a close eye on the Boxing scene but the past few years I kind of lost interest in Boxing until recently.
Last night I watched the Oscar De La Hoya - Ricardo Mayorga fight. I was
For some reason I started singing this song this morning, it's been a while since I have listened to the song and I thought I'd share it with you crazy TF people. It has special meaning to me for a time in my life when friends were important and I was going through a bit of a tough time. I found comfort in music and still do.
The lyrics are great:
My friends are so depressed
I feel the question
Of your loneliness
Confide... `cause I?ll be on your side
You know I will, you know I will

With my recent journal entry regarding Qantas Airlines I thought It might be approriate to post a link to a website that could help you to decide which airline to fly in the future. I especially admire the British one: Mona
Fly Pamann
Time for a rant.
So, I have recently returned from the Land of Smiles to the Land of Frowns. I was fortunate enough to fly Qantas Airlines (Squash Us Airlines from now on). Not only was the ticket expensive but the service, staff and checking desk very mediocre. Staff were not friendly at all, everything seemed a big deal for the staff and at times they seemed quite rude to passengers. I was lucky enough to get the middle section, not aisle seat (3-4-3 seating arrangement) the seat would have b
News that is worth watching, Naked News!
News doesn't have to be all about doom and gloom, I gotta be honest when they read the news, I have NO idea what the news was about.
Naked News
So, last night I was watching TV and flicked over to a channel that had a feature on celebrities and how "normal" they are. The show featured celebrities like Britney Spears and her cellulite (overweight and trailertrash was the description given), Goldie Hawn, Julie Roberts and more. The show revealed what these actresses/models REALLY looked like. It's amazing much modification and retouching is done for movies and photo shoots.
The first time I was enlightened was at a technology show, they
It's amazing that just a few days ago I was on a beach with not a care in the world, warm gentle wind blowing, waves crashing softly on the shore, then in less than a day I was back at work in my cubicle in the florescent lit office. Whoopie!
I've had this thought for a long time: if I keep feeling bad everytime I come back from a vacation I think a soloution is to never have another vacation ever! That way the post holiday blues can be avoided hmmmm or maybe that's not such a great plan after
Anyway.... here's another journal, a grand total of 3 so far in the span of one year:
Just recently returned from a great vacation in New Zealand and Thailand. I had a great time especially in Thailand, I met up with a fellow TF member that was kind enough to take me along to some activities that I would not have otherwise have done. I got to see a different side of Bangkok by doing so which was pretty cool. Just wanted to say thanks once again for meeting up with me. :>
I'll get some photo
So I was at the local supermarket and I see a section that has spices and cooking oils from around the world. I pick up a container of Authentic Green Thai Curry, cool I thought, going to try this when I get home.
Reading the instructions carefully "Use 50g of Green Thai Curry per 400g of chicken" bah what do they know, I want this Curry to TASTE like Green Thai curry. Onward with a few tablespoons of Curry.
Add coconut oil and fish sauce and simmer........ Lookin' good.
