I don't normally talk about my personal life here, but I'm a bit happy, and relived today.
Too make a long story short..........
My girl has been haveing really bad headaches.She is very stubborn, and wouldn't go see a doc no matter how many times i told her.I had been telling her to go for a year now.They finally got so bad she would wake up crying with the pain.Then on top she got really sick (phenomonia).

she was at mom's home, so i talk to mom a little cuz

anyway i dump her because she treated me pretty bad when i was there to see her.basically ignored me and seemed to be angry with me and i didn't know why.
So she would just sleep in my room then go to mom's home, and i would goto the mall and hang out with my friends, and be a mall rat.
this made her more angry

my problem is shoping for xmas presants for my friends family in korat.
i'm only buying for mom, dad, and nhong sow Dow. They are simple people, but i am terrable at buying gifts, dad asked me to get him some tourst junk from Canada witch is not hard since i live in a tourist town.
but i need to buy something for mom.
Dow is 10 years old and i have no kids so not sure what to give a young girl.
Dad is a mechanic at the VW dealer in Korat, so not sure if i should also give him work related it

I took advice from my sis, May, my friends, and took a chance.
I seriously told my best friend in Thailand (Puk), whom i have known for alost 3 years,that I am crazy in love with her.
She has been my best friend for a long time, when I goto Thailand we would go out, do things together, and i could tell her anything, but my true feelings for her.
I had strong feelings for her befor Pao died, but I don't cheat so i never told her.
After Pao was gone,
I only have 15 min left so i'll be short
1, can spend 20 bucks to buy beer and foor for moma's home.Then have the best food i have ever had, and heve them thak me for buying beer, and shoping for food.I should be thanking the cook for makeing better food that i can get in a resteraunt.
2 go to the mall, and not be hungry, just shopping.Then get a phone call from pom faan sow to goto MK for lunch, but i tell her i'm not hungry.She says come anyway. I show up to find she invited moma, dow, May,
So I picked our places to tour, but then i get a call out of the blue.
My gal tells me her boss will let her have 1 month off work only if she pays him.
I don't know how much yet, but he wants her to pay him to cover for her while she is gone.If she does not do that then he will just employ another, and she will lose her job.
Is this normal?
I know there is no representation for workers, job security, and very little vacation time given to Thais.

Any one know of any good places to go in North East Thailand.
I'm not talking Chang Mai,Khao Yai,or the Korat zoo.
I'm looking for other out of the way places of interest that are not the normal farang hangouts.
Like places that are a 1 to 4 hour bus ride from Korat with overnight facilities,maybe even camping.
I want to do 3 or 4 2 or 3 day trips.
