On Friday night in London my friends put on the best party of the year for me so far.The party was to celebrate the release of Go Bang - A Tribute To Arthur Russell. Arthur Russell is a musical legend from the new york music scene who tragicly died way too young.A documentary film about his life " A wild combinaton" was screened in the club before the live gig iontroduced by biographer TIm Lawrence who then signed copies of his book " Hold on to your dreams" also about Arthur's life. Is through his belly!!!!!!!!!Believe me this really is true and the ONLY thing I missed from the UK when I was over in Thailand was some well made homely food. Don't get me wrong I love Thai food,but I also love Indian, Italian, British, French in fact all food from all countries. I may have been unlucky but a lot of the restaurants I tried that were not Thai in BKK just didn't seem up to scratch to me (I worked as a chef for several years so I know my way round a kitchen quite well), I reckon

Just a quick question as there seems to be a lot of Photographers on here and I have had a Digital SLR on my mind for a long time.I was thinking of going for a Nikon D60 as its within the budget I would like to spend on my first DSLR camera seeing as my old SLR is just about dead. Does anyone else feel this is a good choice or have any ideas about an alternative, I will be going to a few shops in the next few days to try a few out so any help woud be apreciated .
