In a couple of days it will be two years after the Santika blaze. It is not my intention to warm up the story and not to ask whether the club shareholders have been prosecuted or not. Mr. S. already has to carry a big burden on his shoulders. Certainly I dont want to take his place.
I just would like to remind people to act sensibly at such venues alike Santika. Be aware and cautious when it comes to firework round midnight. Have a look at possible exits and firexits, check whether they are ope
As it is quite to hard for most of the birds to find food when the ground is deep frozen I attached tow bird dumpings at the magnolia tree in the garden to feed the birds. Three days they were quite shy and they did not approach. In my living room I had the camera on the tripod and waited this morning and then some came:
Once again Merry Christmas to all my friends in warm Thailand.
Cherish the heat in Thailand.Sometimes it seems as if thai people do not know how blessed they are. No need to care for energy to heat the flat, no need to shovel snow two hours a day, no need to have a well filled fridge as the roads are blocked due to heavy snow fall.
These days it is hard to think of spring. I just uploaded some pics to show the difference between winter and spring - pics from my garden. Sigh..cant wait for sp
We have had a wonderful dinner tonight - a crispy goose with dumplings, red cabbage and pistache and vanilla ice cream for dessert..but all the calories just faded when I had to go out and shovelled another 15 cm of snow again. I just cant remember when we had so much of it in recent years:
Hi,
can you imagine what happened if there was ice and snow in Bangkok ? I was just wondering and laughing about what happened if there was no go in BKK, as cars dont have winter tyres.
Every 10 metres there would be accidents,
the food stalls would offer hot spiced wine,
people would go ice and figure skating on Klong Saen Saep,
many would do langlauf to get to their offices on Rama V and Sukhumvit,
there would be huskies pulling sleighs instead of tuk-tuks..

as they got eaten faster then I could manufacture them, I decided to make some more. This afternoon I took butter, sugar, flour, egg whites - and after two hours there were donkeys, butterflies, chicken, stars, moon and little doggies and the entire house smells like christmas:
Mum and I kept some good old tradition - we did some christmas bakery this afternoon. We have done some really yummy cookies - cinnamon stars.
4 egg white, 250 grounded almonds, 250 g powder sugar and 8 g of fresh grounded cinnamon. 2 hours later:
Last year I´ve read about aplace in Bangkok which sounded a bit obscure to me. A place where there are hundreds of phallic symbols. It is located between Ploen Chit and Chid Lom BTS at the Nai Lert Swiss Park hotel directly at the Klong Saen Saep at the end of Soi Witthayu (wireless road).
So I went there knowing that it would be a place not that much visited by tourists. It is not mentioned in any traveller´s guide afa I know.
I guess it´s because of the rather embarrassed look in many thai pe

I bet that in ten years from now they will have special beer shag tents to bridge the market gap for all the impatient, drunk and randy couples..

Morning folks,
yesterday I have been to probably the smallest but cutest thai restaurant of whole Germany
It is located idylically in allotment site in an inoperative old railway waggon from 1928.
The history of the waggon is quite interesting. King Peter Alexander from Yugoslavia ordered that luxurious waggon from Germany and travelled throughout Europe. The Nazis used it as a mobile headquarter and after the war it served for the american allied forces as a mobile headquarter as well.
