WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!
i just tried to register for online banking for my 3 thai bank accounts.
2 of the 3 don't have online registration!!
the 3rd allows online registration but then tells me that my passport number is incorrect and asks me to call 'this number'
i call 'this number' and am told that the only way to resolve the issue is to........
visit the branch i opened the account at!!
how convenient!!

Open Letter To Kansas School Board
I am writing you with much concern after having read of your hearing to decide whether the alternative theory of Intelligent Design should be taught along with the theory of Evolution. I think we can all agree that it is important for students to hear multiple viewpoints so they can choose for themselves the theory that makes the most sense to them. I am concerned, however, that students will only hear one theory of Intelligent Design

after 18 months living and working in thailand i've finally managed to get my hands on a work permit!!
not because i haven't applied before but just because the process takes so damned long i normally change jobs before the paperwork is finished.
so now i'm fully legal and no more visa runs for as long as i stay with my current employer!!
