i watched 'The Triplets of Belleville' and 'Capturing the Friedmans' on the weekend...they were good!

'The Triplets of Belleville' was GREAT!...fantistic, different, dark, funny, ironic and interesting animation was magnificent, smooth, fluid, stylish and the soundtracks are wwwwonderful!...you gotta see it!

as Sarpedon has suggested, we rent 'Capturing the Friedman'. it was a well-done documentary. good art direction (at the beginning). the content was not that strong but since it's unconventional, hence it's already interesting.

Capturing the Friedmans is not a light film but i thought it was well done. Some really surreal monents in it!...

After watching the shocker that was 'The Day after Tomorrow' i need something more fulfilling! I will see if i can grab a copy of the triplets of Belleville !!

You're so lucky! If you see it, let me know how it is! It has won awards everywhere. The content is a double edge sword for the Americans. On one hand, it protrays our leader as a "thicko hick who spent 42% of his first eight months in office on vacation," (not like that's breaking news~lol) but on the other hand, it'll help convince voters to make the right decision come November.
