A visit to krabi and a motorcycle ride around from ao Nang i come to rest at this beach. A quiet shaded place reminding me of north-eastern australian beaches where it's quiet and has natural shade of big old trees :-)

Like many places in krabi new developments are popping up everywhere. I'm guessing in five years things will be different along this stretch of sand, but for now it's beautiful and peacful :-)

I may be there tomorrow afternoon. Today I was on my way to go there, I think it must be the same road to follow, but as it became dark went back to Krabi town where I stay right now in this very comfortable internet cafe.

Wonderful Google Earth, and a lovely panorama. I wonder if that quiet beach is anything to do with that industrial jetty in the background. Still, it's beautiful and another reminder why we're in Thailand (and currently stuck in the concerete jungle of BKK).

cmg_uk: I have no idea about the jetty apart from it taking stone from a quarry; you can take a look on Google earth (co-or: lat: 8.061852° long: 98.746683° )

calmhappysmile: takes about 10-20 minutes to get there... i just used local tourist map to get there. Because of the river it's a pretty round about way to get there, but the roads are so good, the scenery beautiful :-)

I went t Krabi last November and I had so much fun!! I ride a motorcycle from Ao Nang to Wat Tanm Sua(Tiger Cave) and got lost :-p I did scuba diving!!! I'm really falling for Krabi!!!! It's the place that I will definitely go back again...

Sunee: Yes, who not invite you? It would have been great to take a group of great friendly people on this trip... good warm weather (not too hot), calm seas and plenty of places to visit.

Namie_: riding a motorcycle around their can feel like you are getting lost at times... I almost took the road to phuket and turned back onto the right road.. the roads arn't that difficult when you've got a map :-) Yes, I guess i already fall from krabi ;-)
