The alarm on my car appears to be faulty at the moment as it keeps going off sporadically for no apparent reason, it's not windy, the windows are shut etc etc.  It happened a few months ago as well but a quick diconnect of the battery overnight and reconnect in the morning seemed to have fixed it.Anyway last night it went off again and I mean literally only for 5 minutes tops before i got to it and disconnected the battery again.  The time was 11pm so not too late but I guess late enough to be annoying if you have small children trying to sleep.  I thought the neighbours might appreciate my efforts to sort the problem out in a timely manner.What do I come home to today?  A typed anonymous note posted through the letterbox saying "Please make sure your car alarm does not sound after 11pm tonight as it disturbs the neighbours, thank you for your cooperation"Knobs! If you have a effing problem come round and knock on my door instead of being a sad tw@t and spending 10 minutes typing up a note.  It's not as if I did it intentionally and left it going for hours on end.  5 bloody minutes and they felt the need to complain, would be different if it was their car wouldn't it!![/rant]Anyway i've taken the fuse out now which means my remote central locking is also disabled until i can get it looked at.

why would u have a car alarm that need to be disconnected at night...surely this is when car thieves are fairly busy...

Lizardo - it's faulty, anyway I have no need for a car alarm where I live, there is next to no crime here.
