I went to Greeting Party with Eric ( Thaibel ) in Sat night Feb, 17. He brought 3 various items of beers with him from Belgium.. He opened 2 bottles and left one for me.. ;-) "CHIMAY" I like those beers since i saw them package which in classic bottle shape and corked like champagne.. ( The pub was going to chage corkage 600b because they thought its champagne so i show them that its word says in the lable that 'Biere'.. then they charged 400b )Last night was the right time for drink and test its taste.. Umm.. excellent.. strong .. sweet .. bitter and very very tender.. Firstly i was thinking about to put some lemonade and ice with it as its too strong for such a beer but i didnt because i would lose those tastes of it.. One big bottle got me badly drunk chatting with few friends on MSN .. couldnt remember what was talked but they all know that i was drunk..One Belgian connection here in TF told me that besides from choccolate which well-known as the best of the chocs is from belgium.. one other thing is Biere... What do you think ??

Next time ask him to get you some "Dark beer - Duchesse" or "Linderman - Peach beer" soooooo good!

Top that with a box of Neuhaus or Godiva

The Belgian beers are definitely some of the nicest and tastiest beers I ever tried.

If you go to the Carrefour on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 26 and Rama 4 Road in Klong Toey, they have a "bottle shop" in front of the supermarket check-outs. They have a good range of wines and spirits and the usual beers etc available locally, but in the back corner just near the cashier they also have a few Belgian beers from which to choose.

We now have a couple of each sitting in our fridge! Grezzzy likes the fruit flavoured beers...sweet, but nice.

True!!! Belgian chocolate and Belgian beer are the best!!!!! Chimay is great, but also: Duvel, Hoegaarden, Palm, Chouffe, Grimbergen... Yummie! It gets you really drunk Yuri

Chimay is not bad but we have many others that are a lot better. Should taste Westvleteren. Very hard to get, even in Belgium. Brewed by monks and can only get 2 cases and have to drive there yourself. Only tasted it 2 times in my life.
