gravity
The past few days have been bliss. I woke up this morning not to the sound of an alarm, nor the sound of my roommate rustling around getting ready for mission, but to the sound of absolutely nothing. The entire day I was with out orders, schedule or itineraries to go by. I’ve almost forgot how it was to feel like this. I took advantage of this day by not hanging out with the crew that I been with all year. I was alone and I loved it.
Most of the day was spent in the internet café surfing for cloths when I get back home and a car so I can look cool and not have to take the bus to the clubs. The other part of the day was spent being lazy at the USO tent. When I first walked in it felt like I just walked into a giant womb. Everything was padded and all over the place they had couches, gigantic pillows, leather Lazy-Boy’s, TV’s with XBOX’s and awesome low-lit ambient lighting. I wonder why they don’t have anything like this in Iraq…
…and the best part of the day was when I walked into the gym and to my surprise saw no one inside. It was just me verses gravity.
