I been working in Afghanistan for the last 4 years. If you asked me what I did 2 days ago I would tell you the exact same thing I'm doing right now, and if you asked what I did 2 years ago, the response would be the same. I'm getting burned out and I don't think I can stick around here much longer. Things would be different if I didn't have a crackhead for a boss.
The weather is starting to change again, much quicker then I thought it would happen. Cold weather is definitely something I’m not looking forward to. I started pulling out all me cold weather gear the other day, just so that I could be prepared.

I'm a contractor for the US Government and I'm working overseas in Afghanistan. Since I'm a civilian, I get uber vacation benefits. I have all the opportunity to travel anywhere I want for 21 day at a time, every 2 months - paid, plus travel expenses. But when that guy started talking about Unobtanium and how it cost $20 million a kilo back home, I couldn't stop thinking about how the economy and inflation would be in 2154! And here it comes again, New Year’s resolution time. Every year we start to make their resolutions, let it be from losing weight to getting out of debt, either way it’s a promise that that we make to ourselves. Last year I made a resolution to spend more time to with my parents rather than going out with my friends. That resolution broke as soon as I boarded that plane to Afghanistan.

I recently bought a refurbished MacBook Pro as a upgrade to my old MacBook Pro I bought in 2005 and sold to my brother. Ever since I gotten this machine I've been having problems with it and I'm pretty fed up. I wish I could just walk into the Apple store and get it fixed, but since the closes store is thousands of miles away, I can't. Anyways, it was my friend's birthday today and I was able to send her a gift, a LensBaby! It was one of those gifts you wanted, but knew the other person would like it too. Anyways, if I were ever so blessed to had a kid, I want him/her to be just like this one...nose picking and everything.
After every movie I watched as a kid I always wanted to Re-enact them. Other then the normal Star Wars and Terminator movies, that I so passionately loved; I've always wanted to re-enact Never Ending Story. Flying around in a giant Labrador, eating rocks, and what I thought was the coolest, finding that book. Just curious what movies you all want to re-enact.
Its been so long since I been on TF or my Xanga site and blogged, I almost forgot how much I loved it. I was looking at all my old post and remembered that I used to take a lot of photos. Almost every entry had some kind of picture that I took from that day. This is when blogging circles back and makes you realize why you started in the first place. Only a few songs can bring me back to when I was young, care free and without a worry in the world. When I listen to the last song from Weezer's Blue album, Only In Dreams, I get caught in a whirl and get zapped back to when I was 14. Actually all the songs form the Blue album and The Bends from Radiohead. Man...I really heart music.
