In high school I swore that this holiday was created to make single people feel unloved and lonely.  I'm happy that, that's not the case anymore...I don't even know it's Valentines until I walk into the super markets and see all the decorations.

No, it was created to give crabby gf's one more reason to complain: you didn't take me to the right place, you didn't give me the right flowers, you didn't _____________ (fill in the blank.)

If a gf measures someone by what he does or does not do on this fake "holiday" then she doesn't deserve to be a gf. And a few of mine have found that out....

The only good thing about this "holiday" is I'll go to the stores tomorrow and get chocolate at 75% off - for my own consumption! Eieiei!

Valentines Day. Also known as 'Singles Awareness Day'.

When we were younger and had more time, my girlies and I always celebrated Valentine's together. It's such a cool time of the year to look for a special meal and to enjoy one another company. I dont really remember receiving roses on this day, except from my friends. It's a great time of the year to show people you love, esp friends that you appreciate having them in your life. I don't think you get to tell your friends very often how much you love them, right?

Love is for everyone, not just bf or gf.
