The past few days have been bliss. I woke up this morning not to the sound of an alarm, nor the sound of my roommate rustling around getting ready for mission, but to the sound of absolutely nothing. The entire day I was with out orders, schedule or itineraries to go by. I’ve almost forgot how it was to feel like this. I took advantage of this day by not hanging out with the crew that I been with all year. I was alone and I loved it.
Most of the day was spent in the internet café surfing
I'm half way home now. It's been a long day and I haven't slept in over 18 hours, but it's okay because I know I'll be home in a few day. Right now I'm stuck in Kuwait and the best part of being here is not that we don't have a direct threat from the bad guy's, it's that we have a McDonalds! Yep all the cheese burgers and yeahrightdennis can eat!

I forgot that my friend made a shirt of me to sell on the internet....yes I know it's a pretty old picture of me, I think I was like 23 when my friend made it. Funny thing is that it's been selling, and now I can't stop wondering who the heck would by a shirt with my face on it!

My friends and I used to do this thing every year, we called it Discovery Day. We'd all take the day off of work and school and roam around LA like tourist using only public transportation. I caught myself staring into nothing again last night, and so many things were going through my head. I was thinking about all the things I would do when I get back home and all the people I would reunite with after a year.
