Hello Japan - Cherry Blossom

They do sharing the beautiful of nature and sharing artist mind inside.Any TFer(s) in Japan try the Cherry Blossom of this week already. I am sure some Japanese in TH must miss this sweet moment in Japan alot.Let´s share how wonderful it is

I love the Cherry Blossom Festival! I experienced it in Iwakuni a couple of years ago. I love all the street food during those festivals. Absolutely fantastic.

Well, now that you've brought it up...

Tomorrow at noon, about 20 people I work with are meeting at "Hakkako" (8 swans lake) for a "hanami" party. (Hana = flower. Mi = see/watch). In fact, we don't look at the flowers too much, since the point is just to drink loads of beer and eat tons of food in perfect surroundings. But when it gets dark (which happens VERY early in Japan), they put the lights on the trees and everything turns pink. Plus they have the "aka chochin" (red lanterns) lighting the path around the "yattai" (food stalls) -- it's really a special time of the year here. It makes me realize that there are some things in this country I really would miss if I were to leave.

I'll try to remember to bring my camera and take some pics.
