While the special effects and computer imagery were great . . . I felt this movie lacked something. Maybe there was too much narration. They could have tried to develop the characters more. I don't know . . . it was just difficult for me to get into. . and I love action movies.

I love this film, again after LOTR, I told myself I wont watch these 2 films when I saw trailer but after I saw the I really impressed.

I liked this movie too. For me the best thing about it was the way it looked, heavily stylised and lots of contrast made it seem edgier than it actually was. The narrative dragged in places for me, and the antagonist was all too swiftly dealt with, without too much build up which was a shame. I felt it didn't quite fit the highly dramatic end of the 300. Oh, and one other thing . . six packs in abundance! I think contributed nicely to the style. It was as if the main prerequisite for qualifying for the 300 was to have a magnificent six pack!
