The  Volume and Size of 5MB memory storage in 1956.

In  September 1956 IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first computer

with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored 5MB of data.

Makes  you appreciate your 4 GB USB drive, doesn't it?

Yeah and i remember Bill Gates saying nobody would ever use more than 20 mb of memory in a personal computer........just happens so quickly.

Lol.I cannot belive it this box has only 5 MB.

I had heard there were computers the size of entire rooms back then, but this is the first time I ever got a look. We've come a long way!!

I have an 8Gb thumbdrive... :-)

And I guess it wasn't that cheap to buy!!!

Today everything seem smaller...smaller..)))) Errrr...But big size in quality. ;P

on that time it's expensive because of the transportation???
