In the  Daktari Medical Center in  Johannesburg they got a South African supporter with a vuvuzela in his butt.

It was forced in by  some Uruguayan supporters who could not stand the monotone noise from the "instrument"

A nurse told the reporter that she could very well understand the action of the Uruguayans: " I do not like those vuvuzela's. If I was n't a nurse, I would have put the instrument in his ass myself".

Well... ability to produce 130 Decibels, when at 95 Db it can damage permanently the ears.. i can understand upset people... Vuvuzelas should really be banned, just for this basic medical topic.

quality of life is basic evrywhere, i hope...

I was in Durban on Saturday night, I had never in my life heard a vuvuzela before then. The noise they produce is truly amazing, and I don't mean that in a good way. Even in the street, they hurt the ears. Someone used one in the bar I was in, and his vuvuzela was taken from his hands and broken. The noise is offensive, and to be honest you can't hear any crowd singing at the game, which takes away from the atmosphere. Down with the vuvuzela, ban it, put it in the arse!!!

Iamsamtoo: right, this is our society problem... Too much places expose people to more than 95 Db...

Most dancings places are so.. and many young people used to be there face ear ability loss between only 30-40 years old, like former cupper cooker factory workers!

Most pop/rock singers and musician faced this problem, and of course, will never tell they need earelectronic proteses just to live normally..

MP4 systems is also a big problem when too much DB fixed by users...

Fight for quality is not easy, due to confusing between "feeling something" when listening music, and beeing shocked by too high bass sounds...

Empty life people need strong fulfill, just not to see their life is just empyty..
