Just thought I would write some crap. I've been holed up in Luang Prabang a bit longer than expected due to a bout of amoebic dysentry. Turns out I'm not the owner of a cast iron stomach as was previously though.Anyway, I've found it hard to keep up to date with posting pics and writing journals. But being stuck here has given me the chance to upload a few pics and drop in a few votes. I've been travelling for around 5 months now. I was lucky enough to meet a few of the friends I had made on Tf during that time but not that many. Being naturally itinerant meant that I was rarely in a place long enough for it to be convenient. I found myself in BKK on 4 occasions as well as Chiang Mai, Chinag Rai, Mai Hong Son, Khon Kaen, Ubon, Surin, Yashoton, Koh Chang, Trat, Phuket, Samui, Pan-Ngan, Nakhon Si, actually there's quite a long list and these were just the jumping off points, I had my lovely motorbike for the other places (RIP it's now in heaven). I entered Laos about 5 weeks ago through Chong Mek near Ubon and headed to Si Phan Don. I stayed on Don Dhet where the villages have yet to reach even 'sleepy fishing village' status. No electricity and nothing much to do ecept while a way the hours reading, fishing, relaxing in a hamock, buying, killing and eating whole pigs and of course practicing kung fu.So, now I'm not sure which way to turn. I've been trying to get someone to take me on a boat to China but can only get as far as Huay Xai. With my birthday coming up in a few days, the boat trip was going to be a present to myself, as i'll more than likely be alone on the day.
