@ Get, Thanks Get, sure you'll have some great pictures from your Travels soon :)

@ Gav, Thanks, such a luxury to take photos underwater :-)

I'm really happy to have an underwater snap-shot camera for this trip--- seeing one of my greatest attractions in Fiji is underwater, or at least in the water :-)

@ afook06 /Ed ... welcome :-)

@ LadyVin /tigy Happy you like the pictures so much !

Experiencing taking pictures under the water for the first time felt strange... mostly the fish would just run away from me.... was no good chasing the fish to ask them to pose for the pictures... except for a few fish that just looked at me.. came up to my face and made their chomping sounds... A few Nemo would come to my face and try to scare me off making their mouth sounds.... I didn't know that a "Nemo" has such sharp looking teeth...

@sawadee2k Happy you liked :-) So you are heading to Fiji in a months time... the weather should still be good. The camera I used OLYMPUS u770SW .. it gives a good 33feet water depth without any extras.. good for a pocket camera. Overall, visiting the Yasawa's(in fiji) is over priced but caters to all sorts... (($35US per day for 3 big meals/day and staying in a tent by the sea with short walk to Ok snorkeling places (stayed at "david's place" ). It's never too hot nor too cold at night.... Overall great winter escape... Google "yasawa flyer" or "coral view resort" for a starting place of websites Enjoy your Fiji trip...

@Demonix /nun happy you enjoyed :-)

@ thedwarf/ :-)

2 years ago i visited the same reefs in Fiji.. they change, in some places less larger fish and smaller pockets of corals.... disappointed but got to live with changes...

I had visited Surin Islands in Thailand... last year in some places so much coral had been "bleached" (after the tsunami i think) it would have been so colourful, so beautiful..... :-( it was a brown forest of branches as i snorkeled in one sheltered bay...
