Koh Phangan accomodation

Ok, so it's settled, Koh Phangan, here I come. Problem is, where should one stay? All the hotels only want people to stay there for a minimum of 5 or 7 nights and I'm not gonna stay there that long, I just need 3 nights and close to Haad Rin (so I won't have to be dragged through the island after the party) and at least a decent price, because people there seem to get crazy with the prices during full moon parties.  So where are you people staying there?

Thanks, Idar. I've just done that, hopefully she may help. Did any of you guys ever stayed at Drop In The Club resort? I see some positive feedbacks about the place. Is it actually near the party places?

I don't know, I've stopped being a backpacker about 8 or 9 years ago and I haven't had a long time doing it anyway.

Jokes aside, I'd really feel more confident about booking a room so I won't have to end up sleeping on the beach. The sea can't beat the shower and the breeze can't beat the aircon :)

I always stay at Thong Nai Pan Yai beach, it's near Haad Khuat. It's very quiet, with lots of cheapie but comfortable guesthouses. There's a taxi service to Haad Rin when there's a party going on. There's even a few party's around Thong Nai Pan too :)
