Thinking about to go to Switzerland again after my business trip in EU next month. So, searching for some information about Swiss Visa and found this (maybe not new now??)

Visas for people residing in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar

Operative Schengen cooperation

Switzerland's association to the Schengen & Dublin agreements became effective on December 12, 2008. Since then

  • Switzerland recognizes Schengen visas for entry to Switzerland (all nationalities),
  • Swiss resident permit holders (Permit L, B and C) in combination with their national passport can travel to other Schengen Member States without a visa,
  • the Embassy accepts applications for a Schengen visa (condition: Switzerland is the sole or main destination of the trip) which will entitle the holder to also enter the territory of other Schengen Member States. Visas for Switzerland remain valid until their expiry date but do allow entry to Switzerland only.
Sometime I wonder, Switzerland's association to the Schengen because of me?? LOLyeah yeah yeah..if someone remember my journal:http://www.thailandfriends.com/index.php?name=Journal&view=journal&jid=59205&juid=20139I had to stayed in Zurich airport for a night because of visa problem. Indeed I complained them a lot that why they are not use Schengen as many Countries do in EU. It will make thing easier..Maybe they listen to me??? LOL PS: Yep, I know it's not because of me...just thinking like that to make myself feel happy :P                                      Good night everybody
