Just a start

 Ok lots of you read my other journal a few days ago so I don't need to go in to that again. Well I still haven't had a drink (thats not easy when you run and live in a bar but I will beat this one), I have started eating better and have spoken to a friend who is now a personal trainer who is going to sort me out a program to fit in to my lifestyle. Well I actually feel a but run down but I did work very long hours all weekend and have been suffering with insomnia. Still feeling positive about the future and have decided to address my surroundings and deal with some of my home issues.  One of the people I live with is always eating my food so I spoke to him and explained I am trying to get healthy and its unacceptable for him to eat my fresh food as when I finish work all the shops are shut. It may sound silly but it I sometimes do 18 hour shifts and generally work 80 plus hours a week, this guy only works about 2 days a week so you can see why its not on. Anyway if I can just tackle one thing every day that is upsetting the balance in my life then I think I will start to be more positive and healthy.   Haven't bought my bike yet will go looking tomorrow on my day off work

Very good Sean! Yeah alcohol is a killer.. I nearly lost my brother a couple of times because of his booze problem..

About insomnia: I think many times the reason of having not enough sleep is marked by the habbit of getting to bed too late..

- Yeah right Yuri... haha... of course - no I am serious..

I think you should make a change by using sleeping pills / weed for just a little while..

(u can get hooked to those as well very easily so watch out). Then keep the rhythm of going to bed early, until it becomes normal.

Holidays can bring you to this point as well of course. Then leave the drugs and go to bed immediatelly when you feel tired in the evening.

Don't wait too long, because you'll feel numb and sleepless later on.

Still that's probably impossible as a barkeeper...
