I have decided to see my friends more often. Yesterday my friend Marjolein came to visit me for dinner. I know her for 14 years. She was one of my first collegues. I cooked green curry chicken for her and pad pak ruam. We drank a lot of wine and listened to a lot of music. She came together with her new boyfriend Abdelah. Turns out that we like the same kind of music. It was late when they headed home.

Today I was with Katja. I met her a couple of years ago. She is the friend of a friend and she loves Thailand. Katja visited me in Chiang Rai, when I was living there. We like to walk together and walked some daytrips before. This time we took the train around noon to Dieren, a small village in the east of Holland, near Germany. From there we walked 11 km through forest and heather fields.P1020069.jpgP1020071.jpgP1020073.jpgP1020074.jpgP1020077.jpgP1020080.jpgP1020081.jpgP1020089.jpgP1020084.jpgP1020092.jpg After 2 1/2 hours it started to getting dark. We reached the next train station of Rheden in time. Back in Amsterdam we ate some Thai food in snackbar 'Birds' on the 'Zeedijk'. Pla shoo shee this time and som tam... Yummie!

thanks for all comments... yesterday I was very happy that I went for that long walk.. Also I was very tired when I came back home... Wanted to share some of the pics and as OoO observed I was maybe a bit short in my sentences.. That was because the journal was deleted one time because I pressed the wrong button... hahaha

Then it's always a nasty thing to do all the writing and pasting again... But I genuinely enjoyed being out there in da fields. Have to do this more often for sure!
