I loved it!. Good mindless movie Most movies go to far and get all multi-million on the 'monsters' point of view. This movie keeps you in the motion of the first person point of view, never leaving the characters. Not a lot of character development, that's why this movie is so short. He throws you right into the monster a couple minutes in. You get a bit of character plot, but just enough. I don't need to know where the characters grew up and what they like to eat anyway. Again, if thats what you like, go home, you will be all upset at the end...

With that being said, this damn monster is taking out NYC and there's nothing getting in it's way to stop it!. I may go and see it again!

So, just have fun with it. Don't go in expecting some kind of Hollywood movie focused on nice camera angles. Leave that mentality at the door, or you will be disappointed. Just have fun with it and image what it would be like if you were really there.***SIDE NOTE***I return to the kingdom in April. I also posted an event. Location will be named at a later date. Come on down. Love too see some of yaz!Laughing

I'm interested to see this movie but after i read about it on imdb about the motion sickness thing, i wasn't sure if i should go see it in the theatre or wait for the DVD.

P.s. Welcome back to the land of smiles soon! ;)

Great film I agree in a kind of Blair Witch annoying camera angle kind of way!

One handy hint I gained from that film:

If your mate's tears turn red and she feels a bit queezy, take off your dry-clean-only Prada shirt IMMEDIATELY and shove it straight down your trousers!

The movie had the potential of being good, but the camera work sucked!! Had they only used about 15 minutes of that 1st person POV and then switched to a normal type of filming it would have been so much better. After the movie, I actually felt sick after all that shaky filming. Not a movie for someone who has epilepsy...would probably send them into a seizure!
