    Well my ex is all moved out of my place and I decided to make a few extra bucks by renting out one of the rooms in my place and a friend of mine showed some interest and made an offer that if I reduce the rent for a few months he would change out the counter tops in my kitchen and replace them with some new Brazilian granite tops.  The only thing I could say because he offered to do it for only $500.00 was "hell yeah...go for it".  I guess it does pay to have friends in the construction business Cool      Here's a sample of the granite that will be installed........Photobucket

Excellent price for Hawaii

If you bought Brazillian Marble here in Thailand, it might be the same price but it would not be from Brazil but rather the far Northern Bangkok suburb of Saraburi. Nor would it actually be marble but rather granite.

Seems between Saraburi and other points in Thailand the granite picks up a new history and character. Somehow it mysteriously transforms itself into Marble (rather than the granite it actually is) and also then decides it originates in the mines of Africa or Italy.

I guess thats what happens when you go to the big city-you change.

Amazing.
