My little man didn't go to school today as he had an appointment at the hospital. I was supposed to go to work but since his dad couldn't make it so I had to take Mason there myself.  P9300552.jpgHis " I don't like school " face. P9300561.jpg Anyway... so I didn't know that Mason was going to have 3 shots today. Plus blood test as well...I have a weakness of seeing Mason cry or in pain. I've never seen him cry this much before. His whole face was red, eyes were swollen for hours.Only in the US that would give so many shot to kid in 1 time. I remember when I was in Europe they would only give 1 today and more next week or something like that. Never 3 in the same day.  I was so close to cry when they getting some blood sample from him. Now it wasn't just a tiny boo boo on the finger. They actually went for his arm and suck out a whole lot of blood! He was crying so hard and grabbed me tight the whole time. After all done I asked him if he still love me ... He said " yes ":)   So after finished the whole thing I decided not to go to work and work on a few stuff at home instead ... No dinner today ..Don't feel like eating ... Just me ... my Mac , Guinness , HBO , Money magazine and beernuts ... Mason is with his father today ... And I miss him dearly ...  DSC_1665.jpg Goodnight everyone,Melanie :)

I think Mason looks like you. Not easy to see your little one in pain. I know how Mothers are, as mine still calls me her little baby, and I'm a grown man. So I understand. Just enjoy your nite, and you see him soon.

The thing is he probably forgot about what happen today and all the pain already. But I'm here still feeling those pain for him. Not easy to be a parent really. Now I'm kinda glad that I'm not into any kind of drug or hurt myself in any other way. I somehow have a little idea of how would it feels like for my mum now.

i love the green bag and yellow crocs! does he pick that gear himself?

hope he feels better soon! in thailand, my wife had her medical done for her visa. and sure enough, to get approved for the us visa, she had to get several needles in one day!!

it's the drug companies! they're too powerful!!

My little one is still only a month and half... I don't know yet what kind of a child he will become, but so far he looks like the sensitive dreamy type. That's the fun of having kids, you never know how they will turn out. :)

I understand how hard it must be leaving him to his dad... but Mason will be back, so cheer up and be ready for when you see him next... Great pics (as usual)!

Yes he got dress and pick all the stuff himself.

When I was pregnant. It was like blood test every 3 weeks for my sugar level and a few more stuff.( I was way over weight. )

If your wife thinking of having her baby here in the US, Andy ... Plan for a lot of needles every 3 weeks till 6 months pregnant!

Way to go Mason! Somedays you gotta take one for the team.

BTW.... he should have asked you if you still love him, what with the shots and blood tests.

with kids it is often the fear that makes them cry as much as pain. and it is freaky deaky getting a syringe in the bod, for the little ones.

Mason deserves a trip to Swensons, at least.
