Do you remember the movie "The terminal" ?

I'm almost forget this movie until the night of 26 Sep.

I was expected to flew from London to Zurich and transit to Athen...everything went smooth without any problem. 26 Sep

20.00 PM :at Zurich airport, they checked my Schengen visa and found some mistake!! My visa will valid from 25 Sep 09-23 Dec 09. That mean I can't enter Athens until next year!!!! What a shame of German Embassy in Bangkok, it was they mistake. But in the same time, I didn't carefully check my visa. 21.00 PM :It was late Friday's night, No any Embassy working in weekend, no any flight to go around..

What I can do is just waiting and not even have place to sleep...That time, I saw clearly of Tom Hank's face.

Indeed, I understand how he felt now...23.00 PM :I slept at the chair in the airport while keep thinking about nice and comfortable bed in the nice hotel in Athens.It even more worse when I realize that I must pay 200Euro for the room in Athens while I still slept at the chair. 27 Sep

4.30 AM: Early morning, the authority told me that I must go to Frankfurt airport and asked the immigration to issue new visa for me...the problem is I must pay 1000 Francs Swiss for the ticket.

No, it's not be who will accept that easily..After some megotiation, finally I got LH's business class ticket and flew to Frankfurt10 AM: Arrived Frankfurt...the authority took me to "Federal Police"  they seem unfriendly and treat me as I'm terrorism. Waiting...15.00 PM: Got my visa22.00 PM: Flew to Athens28 Sep 02.00 AM: Arrived airport03.00 AM: arrived hotelFinally, I can sit at hotel's balcony, gazing at Acropolis with the cool breeze..2 days and 1 night is enough for me in the airport..

Next time I will always carefully check my visa and don't let this kind of mistake happen again 

I would like to experience that! but not if i have to pay so much money!! hahaha

I just like staying at the airport....

Yes, German gestapo government same as america, thinks everybody with SMALLEST typo in passport/visa, is terrorist able to bring whole country down. Paranoid? maybe. Put a single match in your sneaker and see what happens :-)

oh... visas/bureaucracy.... don't ya hate it? grrrr.....
