Festival Walk - Hong Kong

Just a short video I made of a really nice shopping mall in Hong Kong - Festival Walk. It's comprises over 1 million square feet of retail space, an 11 screen cinema and an ice-rink but what I love about it is the huge 6 story atrium and glass sky-light which allows natural light to flood the interior. The day I shot this was sunny and it looked very beautiful. You can even see one of the mountains (I think it's Sze Wan Shan) through the rear window - so coool :)  You can watch in high quality here if you click the link under the volume button

I remember when that was being built; quite the biggest damn hole in the ground I have ever seen and driving up and down to the carpark really gets you dizzy...

I used to live in Kowloon Tong and this place, while providing everything you really need, is a testament to the design team and marketing guys as wherever you want to get to, the mall is designed so that you have to pass as many shop windows as possible. Great for the shop keepers but bloody annoying for everyone else...
