Just got back from Manila. That place is crazy. It's good to be back in Thailand but I do miss the philipinos - great people! I thought maybe it was Buddhism that made asians happy, but the phils are mostly Catholic and there even happier there!

they are Catholics there ...where did you go ? ....compared to Thailand i found it dissapointing

i went to Angeles ,manila,Boracay,im going back in April there to try some place diffrent maybe cebu or palawan ....i went off season so that probably why hee hee

Phils is so varied - the rice terraces in the north were great, really beautiful

Manila is crazy because its so dangerous, no traffic lights, very few cops etc

The food is not great but the character of the people is admirable

They are so happy because 19% of their GDP is from their countrymen that work abroad and send money back to them as remittances. I think that'd make any country happy!
