Today, I was thinking again....

only one word make somebody hurt... evenif this was mentioned to say...

Last year, my apartment ower said why Japanese man is so jai rai...

of couse I was hurted ifeven I knew she was mentioned to say.

She just want to think and protect her freind who married with Japanese

guy.

I reminded that before I came here, my boss said you were representive

of Japan. Maybe poeple who never meet Japanese think Japanese is

everything like you....

I think this is true....coz this kind of ppl do not know us.

For example, people never meet Japanese but have some information

about Japanese...

Maybe thier image of Japanese is like wear glasses, have camera, walk very

fast, act as group and so on....

I think you khow it we call this kind of ppl who believe this streotype, right?

In this world, too much information make us confuse what is true or not.

Esp. Internet world is scared me lots...

Somebody said something(esp. bad rumor or gossip) and some ppl believe it and talk to other ppl.

Recently I feel like this in this TF site as well..this is really sad.

ummm..getting I don't khow what I want to say....

The point I want to say is if someone who said one word to hurt, do NOT

blame his/her about this, think why s/he said that and try to understand and make both of us happy. Of couse do not emotional to say...

I wish I wanna be like this kind of ppl. Unfortunaly sometimes I am also

emotional to say and hurt each other...sia jai jin jin...

Today I also regret a little bit.

I also carefully to say na...

I think love is also the same. Esp yr bf or gf is from different culture na.

I know it is very difficult coz my ex gf is chinese.

Information is informaion. Find out by myself...and make us happy na

What do you think?

I worked with Japanese men for 16 years I think they were nice. When I was young I saw Japanese films and most of them are cruel and sadism so I was really afraid Japanese guys, after I knew them I changed my mind. Japanese ppl are nice and kind-hearted (ppl are different all the countries around the world). When we go to the parties with Japanese we girls not really are allowed to pay any more (even we want to) they treated girl well (even someguys are sukebe ...lol). That why I liked Japanese ( I have to credit myself as I was nice to them so they were nice to me too).

Now I changed my field away from Japanese and met many Farangs so I could compare the difference between farang and japanese. BTW I like to argue with japanese more than farang coz farangs debate is never ending but japanese are more compromise.

Well Daichan, hope you have a nice weekend and don't hurt any ppl by your words. Ki o tsukete na... :)

daichan, o genki desu ka? I think you have a sensible approach to what you described.

It's natural that people will make pre-judgements about anything based on the information they have at the time. Some will try to look beyond the surface and seek further information so that their choices are more informed. Others will be comfortable with the knowledge they already have.

If someone assumes you are like this or like that based on your Japanese heritage, then they have merely chosen to know you NOT as an individual. You will have to accept that because you will meet such people wherever you go. I wouldn't take it personally.

I disagree strongly with your boss, however. In my opinion, nationality is irrelevant. No matter what situation or whoever I encounter, I'm only representing myself, first and always. Does it matter to me that I have a Japanese name, a Canadian passport and I live in the US? No. That's only for the immigration authorities in each country to sort out.

As far as cultural differences from one country to another, these differences can be fully celebrated (like TF), not just used as an excuse to make myself feel superior or to shut out people from my life.

Basically, when I relate to anyone, the ONLY thing that matters to me is kokoro (heart). I feel we could use more of that anywhere.

BTW, I was married to a girl from china too!

Have a nice weekend!

sore de wa,

Jo
