.mov format ?

My new digital camera saves  video  in .mov  format, but neither Window Media Player nor Quick Time Player could display the  .mov format.

I  want to view  video on my laptop, but I don't want install any more program.  Can anyone give me a tip?

What brand of camera? MOV is just a container for video compression, similar to AVI so even if it looks like it should be able to be played, you might be missing the correct unpacking drivers to play it. Also naturally your camera came with the software that DOES install for you needed stuff without any need for extra software like VLC or KMPlayer. So, read the manual first. And tell what brand of cam you are packing. :) New cameras pack in H.264 format which is more efficient and also something that you might by default have drivers for, hence the manual that tells what you install from your camera cds to play the movies. (Sure VLC does play almost anything you throw at it, but as said...install your bundled camera drivers. No need to install photo software like ACDC that might come with it, just the camera makers own stuff)

Thanks for tips, everybody. I am updating Quicktime. I will get back later.

My camera is casio exilim. I have difficulty reading the manual.

Result.....

1.Updated version of Quick Time doesn't work. I Can only listen to sound, but no picture.

2.Nero show time.... I could see only picture on the screen, but no sound
