What's a real friend?Well, in my experience, a real friend is someone who isn't afraid to complain about your faults. He or she isn't worried about upsetting you if they speak the truth you don't want to hear.They don't consider your feelings if they think that something you need to know might hurt you.They don't give two hoots about you when you're in the wrong.And, they're not afraid to fall out of favour with you if you piss them off. (Forever if necessary.) Those, are true friends. And thank heaven for them.

It depends.

I partly agree. I mean when you need to be pulled up on something you have done wrong or done something to annoy someone, then yes, real freinds should/will tell you whats on their mind.

But the times when your down and need a helping hand, a true friend wouldnt come along and tell you that you look stupid and smell.

A true friend is someone who is there for you when you need them.

A true friend doesnt need constant validation that they are a true friend.

A true friend is somoeone who, when your backed into a corner, will be there to fight your corner.

and when the **** hits the fan, will shelter you with an Umbrella.

Just my opinion..

Don't disagree Teddy, but he's, most importantly, imho, the bloke who is willing to be truthful enough to you to risk your entire relatonship forever.

The other stuff is way less important.

I m afraid when i telling something that my friend dont want to hear that they might upset me...

But i will tell anyway.
