I will be home for Christmas and for New Years I am so happy about this I just thought that I would share this with everyone. This will be my first Christmas off in 5 years and I am happy that I will be able to spend it at home with my family. I know its early to be saying this but I am so close to being out of AF that I can't wait much longer.  Even though I will be spending my birth-day in theater it is well worth it! just to be home! I also look forward to seeing all my friends while I am at the house also!

That's good to hear, congrats. Enjoy the time with your family. I'm sure that after a few days relaxing with them, it will be as if you never left. Enjoy.

Eeeeh, after some time in Afghanistan (and I spent mine in Kabul, but a good portion of it outside of ISAF HQ) I know that going home is necessary! Have a GREAT time there with your fiancée, your family and your friends!
