Smart Meters 

Impressive and scary too, smart network way of life

The USA is installing more than 10 million Smart Meters which is good from a efficiency stand point. However, when you think of all the ways that the "Network" tracks everything do, Google, credit cards, surveillance cameras and now the electric grid too.

I'm always split on this type of stuff. They can't keep guys on the "No Fly List" off of airplanes. It's a pretty simple thing. It's a list. Your name is on it? Yeah, you can't get on a plane. But still you hear every few months about someone who was on the list being allowed to fly. Plus, who knows how many other cases you don't hear about.

What makes anybody think that given even more information that they'll be able to use it? :-)

Am I reminded of The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology

have had a system like that here for last 5 years.they are used on houses with thermal storage units
