I still love the story of how in his early Saville Row days, he wrote 'I am a *****' in the lining of a jacket being made for Prince Charles. This for me summed up McQueen's attitude towards the establishment!!

@ Chris - think the loss of his mentor 3 years and his mum at the start of this month probably had a lot to do with it.
