The past weekend saw the start of the 2010 Rally season here in South Africa.I have taken these shots and had unexpected action. The Ford Fiesta shown here in flames made it's 2010 debut and were a purpose build Ford Fiesta R2000 worth about one million South Africa Rand. (Three and a half million TB) It was approacing a stop at a tee junction and according to the driver they encountered a breakfluid leak and the car caught fire. They just had seconds to get out of the car before it was engulfed in flames.I was fortunate to be at the right place at the rite time to take these shots.
