Finally, my biz trip was already settle. This time we skip germany / Belgium customers and directly go to Moscow / St. Petersburg.

The hotel in Moscow was already booked for me during my biz trip. But I'm just thinking about to go to Moscow 2 days earlier. Then I will have time to see around there.

If someone can recommend me not so expensive Youth hostel near "Golden Ring Hotel"? Let say, I can walk and carry all my luggage to Golden Ring hotel.

How about Sokol guesthouse, Kremlin Hostel, Moscow home hostel??

Since I prefer to not bother my colleague while I'm not in biz trip period. So, I will go there alone. Is it safe to travel to Moscow alone ??

Thanks for all your advise.

Enjoy your weekend and Happy Songkran day!,

Hi

Being in Moscow alone is not a good idea.

Most people can't speak English

Most info in city streets, transport, etc are not translated to English too

Even I, live in this city 10 years don't know where to stay for couple of nights cheap. City is not friendly to tourists without big pockets. I can't imagine what a presidential suite in BKK you may book for cost of ordinary hotel in the city center.

I try to search local internet and find average price about 4000-5000 baht per night in mini hotels in the city center.

I think you will need to be in touch with locals who speak English and/or Thai. And get someone to be with you!

Try to ask at our message board at www.farangforum.ru in English or Thai. I hope this helps. Most of message board in Russian language, but you may post messages in section
