อาทิตย์นี้สวยมาก เพราะว่ามีดอกไม้สีขาวหลายมาก

ต้นไม้หลาย อยู่ถนนข้างแม่น้ำ

มีสวนหนึ่งทุกคนรู้ดี --Yeoido (do=เกาะ, Yeoi Island)

ไม่ชอบคนเยอะ... ไปสวนเล็ก

ไม่มีคนเลย และก็มีดอกไม้เหมือนกัน

มาร์คชอบอยู่คนเดียวกับดอกไม้สวย

This past week, there was a festival in Yeoido for the Sakura flowers (Cherry blossoms.) Long lines of trees edge the river as far as the eye can see. The festival is in the heart of Seoul, and it draws huge crowds. Everywhere you turn, people are posing, and there's a constant hum of camera shutters.

I also went to a small provincial park. There were still hundreds of blooming trees, but there were very few people. It was beautiful being there alone amongst the trees.

If you have a chance, visit Korea in mid-April. The cherry blossoms are worth a visit.

is there also a lot of sake, like during the O-Hanami in Japan??

Sure, Koreans love to booze, too! They drink Soju, which is similar to sake. During the day, though, it's a family affair. At night, there were booths set up for eating and drinking.

I'm not sure what O-Hanami is, but if it's like this, I'd love to see it one day.

O-Hanami means the Watching of the Cherry Blossoms, so everybody go to the parks with a picnic and a lot of sake. I found soju in Japan too, but I prefer sake. Kampaaiiiiiiiiiiiiii (=to your good health:))
