Ever wonder if you are part of a dying breed? ..in the sense of wondering if there are other people in the world who are truly honest, and who value that quality in others. I have no agenda. I live my life openly and honestly. I love with all my heart ...but i am no doormat.

Maybe loyal, trustworthy, kind, fun, active, attractive, intelligent, independent, and yet still homely women are ten a penny...?

Hmm..

..if we are worth our salt, would be nice if those who meet us, really knew how to value us..particularly our partners... but even if they do not..at least, at the absolute least..we should value ourselves.

Never, ever, ever, compromise yourself to the point of unhappiness.

..wish all a happy life.

I always try to see the value in everyone. Sometimes I'll meet someone with no value at all, but that's very rare.

Once you see yourself become a doormat, it's time to make some big changes.

I think it's more of a 'rant' than a 'ramble', but we are all entitled to those!

But cut to the chase... Do you have a request? A problem? Need advice?

It feels like you are trying to meet someone and finding it difficult. Maybe try being direct and saying exactly what you want, rather than being circumspect.

Instead of saying, 'if those who meet us'... you could say, 'the a**hole I met last night' or something a bit more specific.
