Back in England :(
Well my 3 week holiday in Thailand is over and I have to go back to work tomorrow :'(
Still i had an excellent time and saw and did more in3 weeks than I did in a month last time I was there.
The trip started off in Koh Samui where we have several friends living and working and until the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangnan on the 13th we just kind of chilled and went out during the evenings. While we were there my friend managed to get a couple of sets at the Green Mango in Chaweng so those were definitely good nights out.
Full Moon Party came around and although I wanted to see tiesto in bangkok on this night also I still had a brilliant time, spending most of it at the Drum and Bass bar. We buried one of my mates on the beach when he passed out, I will try and get the pictures.
After 2 weeks 3 of us moved on to Phuket for 4 nights and chartered a speedboat to Phi Phi and Kaim Island on one of the days. Did a bit of snorkelling which was pretty cool. Elections were on while we were here so a couple of nights there was not a lot to do. Still enjoyed it though.
Finally we spent 2 nights in Pattaya and as it was a friends first time in Thailand we took him to a gogo bar where he decided to strip and put on the girls clothes before getting up on stage and dancing with them. Must say it's a very lively place at night time and can see why it appeals to a lot of falang men.
Our last night was in Bangkok and we spent most of it in the Billeray Bar at Nana playing pool. We did move on to the Nana Entertainment complex to wind up the night and I ended up having a written conversation with a deaf girl who was working in one of the bars, she was actually a very sweet and pleasant person (as well beautiful). Was quite a surreal moment in my life if I'm to be perfectly honest.
Most of this post will make me sound like the typical falang visiting thailand but my trip was more about visiting friends both thai and falang and making some more which I feell I achieved.
Sorry for the essay
P.S. I will get some photo's up either here in another journal on on my profile at some point.
