last week i pulled out my "wisdom tooth" left side below. My face swelled like watermelon from next day. i couldnt open my mouth widely nor close completely. since then my meals are only Tofu, milk, soup, porridge and juice.

my face recovered from swelling now, 1 week after operation, but still cant open my mouth big.

i didnt expect such painful process after operation!!

has anyone have similar experience like this?

hi, Foxie. according to the doctor, my wisdom teeth upside are so small that i dont have any problem. but, to my headache, wisdom tooth right-bellow is growing horizontally and pressing inner tooth, which is healty. so she advised me to pull that one also in near future!!! oh my God!!

Hi, Lena. oh, poor thing. tonsil is another weakpoint of mine!! not only cheek but my thoat also swelled after tooth operation. i can easily imagine how you were suffered after operation!! i used drinking straw to eat my meal for the first 2 days!! how fantastic!!

oh, i forgot to tell you i lost weight 2 kg in 1 week!! Ladies!! wont you try?

Yeah I have had this(2 at one time), but for a much shorter time to recover....are you sure there is no infection, and you don't need some anti-biotics?

Lena!! did your doc do general anesthesia? (unconscious during operation) i did it by local anesthesia. (i can hear the sound and feel the vibration of cracking my teeth, of course no pain during operation)

hi bob! my doc says i'm the one who has swelling most terrible. of course i took antibiotic to prevent infection. but my body might be too sensitive against wound!! anyway, i feel much better now. arigatou!

hi FiLuRiNa! i have 1 more to go. i wonder whether doctors do GA(general (full) anesthesia) or LA (local (partial) anesthesia) when they pull out teeth in Thailand.

In Japan, normally they do LA.

how about in other countries??
