Freaking cross between Irish Spring and a Irish pub, I often wonder what us Irish people smell like? maybe it's four leaf clover and lucky charms with some old funky pot of gold smell.

eddie maybe i'm missing something, but which part of ireland is atlanta in ??

also what the f**k have four leaf clovers got to do with ireland ??

i can probably guess the answer. actually it reminds me of a funny story about an american student (female) i met in sri lanka, who was telling me how "irish" she was, but i'll save it for later.

ok eddie will try not to be too patronising (not easy, but i'll try). be interested in "how" irish u r. were u born in ireland ? parents born in ireland ?? have u ever visited ireland ? i am only asking as ur knowledge of ireland seems extremely limited.

the four leaf clover might be a symbol for "irish" people in atlanta on st. patricks day, but it certainly is not for irish people lliving in ireland (or thailand for that matter). the IRISH smbol is actually a SHAMROCK which has three leaves not four. used by st. patrick to illustrate the holy trinity (three) of the father (god), the son (jesus christ) and the holy ghost.

also the "irish" girl was not "a nice red head" she was an american explaining to me how "irish" she really was. incidentally only a very small percentage of irish girls have red hair, probably somewhere in the region of 5-10%.

anyway i'm going for lunch now, will give u rest of the story about the "irish" girl when i come back.

Both my parents are full irish there parents came here from ireland in the late 1800's and on my mom's side they went to canada first then moved to Chicago where we all lived at til 1992 moving to the deep south here.

I didn't know there was a difference in a shamrock and four leaf clover thanks for telling me, good to learn something new.

I really didn't think they where all red heads, my mom has black hair and my dad has red hair, I seen some nice blondes there not sure if they are natural. I love to go see ireland someday, but I don't know anyone to visit over there.

well my daughter is a natural blonde, as i was when younger (much younger), however most ppl's hair gets darker as they get older. although mine has started to actually get lighter in colour now. not that this is a good thing as it has gone from light (blonde) to dark (brown/black) to light (grey) :?

I had very light blonde hair, but it kept getting darker over the years now it's more brown than anything, same as your's but soon i will either go bald or have lots of grey hair. we just keep getting older and older just the Irish way of getting old

talking on a normal level is much refreshing after a long night I am going to bed 2 am already, I'll check back later.
