Language Barrier

Too much into TF forum... and I think I have problem about reading some comment on here too hard for me to understand... I don't know even who are they refered to. Gosh!!

For example, PiAnt, if I can understand half of what his post it might be cool. Everytime, before I read his post after mine... I always think, "Will i understand him?"

Don't get me wrong na, it's just my fault I have super damn language barrier, and I understand this is not a place to practice English.

What is your suggestion?

Well ja, much of what is written on here is colloquial (slang), idiomatic, or just plain silly English and, in fact, this is the perfect place to learn English as it is used.

I don't understand all of what is written on the Thai forum either ja; you also use slang and idioms there, of which I have little knowledge.

It's ok to ask what something means if you don't understand ja, I wouldn't imagine anyone here would belittle you for it, and many are glad to explain stuff to someone eager to understand.

If you're referring, specifically, to the "Chance would be a fine thing." comment, you could Google the whole phrase, as it's widely used as I wrote it, and means "It would be nice if I had an opportunity to [get a big hug in public]."
