Norfolkinchance
English cockers huh..... hmmm.... Well, i had 2 English Springer Spaniels when I was in UK. Both passed away within a few months of each other, they were inseperable and i guess when 'Candy' died, the other one, 'Pickles' missed her so much and didnt really want to go on. They were 10 & 11 years old!! Now I got a golden retriever called Branco. He has lived with me in Indonesia, Vietnam and now Thailand and he is the nicest, smartest dog I have ever owned. The springers were lunatics, but this is a good family dog. Loves my 2 yr old son like a brother!! ha ha!!
khun_lung
I've had four dogs during my life. 1. Duke, a purebred collie that I loved so much (and vice-versa). He was hit and killed by a truck when I was very young. But I still remember him so well. 2. Eddie (Oedipus Rex), a mixed breed. Totally unique and completely devoted to me. I had to give him to my parents when I moved into an apartment that wouldn't allow pets in my early 20's. He too was hit by a car and died prematurely. 3. Fang, a purebred lhasa apso. Cool dog, but kinda independent more like a cat. At age 12 he got stones in his urethra and had to have surgery and it did something to his brain and he was never the same after that. Very sadly, he had no quality of life, lost his ability to recognize people, and to control his bladder. He was put to sleep...something for which I have never forgiven myself! 4. Ying, a purebred shih tzu. Most loving dog I ever had. Playful, protective, loyal, absolutely perfect. She sadly died of stomach cancer at age 11. I loved her so much! Now where I live in bkk pets are not allowed but there are two dogs living in the car park, Long (聤) and Mee (ËÃÕ). Mee is a bit aggressive but he's my buddy and Long is a sweetie! She was so afraid of me when I came here but now we are really good friends! Whenever I go out I always take them dog biscuits to eat. And Long and Mee are inseparable...like soul-mates! Really! Whenever one goes out, the other follows and they play together and have such a good time. I wondered if they were more than friends and then...one day I came downstairs and yup, they were shagging in the car park! I went to the guard and said, "Why don't you stop them? Do you want puppies here?" He turned to me and said, "Do YOU want to try to stop them???" hahahaha No puppies yet! Yah, I love dogs!

I've got 10 dogs from Pekingnese to Tibetian Spanial to Tibetian Mastiff. All Oriental dogs. Funnily enough, the Pekingnese is the top dog. That little Chinese mut rules with an iron paw over the Tibetans!

DJTX
I have to agree with everyone here that dogs are great. I grew up with numerous beagles. Wish I had time to have a dog now. But for everyone, especially those in BKK, I have to ask you to 'please' make sure your dog is controlled. There are way way way too many stray dogs in the BKK area. CuTieGirL
was brought up with king charles's and dalmatians(greedy b+stards ).now family have pug :? ...reminds me once ate dog once in Indonesia as well as several other furry domesticated creatures. It was like a pet smorgasborg If you ever go to Indonesian Market, the Dog meat is more expensive than beef, pork and chicken. That answered why I never seen any dog on the streets when I was in Indonesia.
CuTieGirL
I have a Yorkshire Terrier that I took care of since 1997. Funny that I did the online test, 'What kind of dog are you?' and it turns out I'm a Yorkshire Terrier!! In my house; 2 German Shepherds, 1 Collie and 1 Golden Retriever.
