FarangFarang
I think the OST and PST files are actually Outlook data files. You probably won't be able to open those. They're probably encrypted. Your best bet is to tell your friends and clients not to send you MS Outlook only files.

I need to view this message. MS outlook is pretty costly. Have any economy solution? if You get .pst and .ost files then You probably are getting archives with more than 1 mail included, the .ost is an Offline (local archive) file of mails from an outlook client, and You are really not supposed to get that file unless You are overtaking someones mail box... The .pst file can be imported into Thunderbird (from mozilla) mail client, and then You should be able to read them, Thunderbird is free to download and use... If You are on a windows computer I would think that You already have MicroSoft Mail (known as MicroSoft Express before, if Your Windows predate Vista) ? That should be able to import .pst too as I recall... As for the .msg - try notepad, or notepad++ (download the latter) As for .pdf - download Adobe Reader from Adobes webpage, it is free to download, free to use... And if You really really need the .ost file, there is a tool out there ost2pst and then import the resulting pst into thunderbird or MicroSoft mail .
