Sorry for my igorance. Ive been out drinking in bkk too many times. Im meating the missus on march 29th. Is there anything to do in bkk that doesnt involve geting mao. I hate being in kho san or sukhumvit soi 4 its full of old men with young ladies. It makes thailand look bad. Anything decent to do. With the exception of MBK (aka cinema/bowling as my girlfriend always beats me at bowling)

There are places like Dream World, Safari World and Siam Waterpark. You can spend an afternoon at these places although they cater more to families.

There are plenty of shopping malls to wander around. There is always something going on at the malls and lots of pretty girls too.

Try Jatujak market at the weekend. Be warned though after walking round there for a couple of hours you'll probably want to start drinking again.

If you fancy hanging out with the Thais there are plenty of areas where the Thais go drinking. There is Ratchada soi 4, Khampehng Phet 2 and plenty of bars around Ekamai and Thonglor area.

Usually there will be a band playing Thai/English covers while the crowd dance around the tables.

Better bring ID though or you ain't gettin in anywhere. Don't matter how old you are you still have to show it.

I strongly urge you NOT to go to Safari World. Their mistreatment of the animals is legendary.

They also charge foreigners more to get in, which I regard as racism.

Sounds like you'd like a bit "culture"

well there are plenty of art exhibitions, classical concerts, and plays going everyweek.if thats not your thing, just go out on a picnic, a few nice places around bkk to do that, you may have to travel a bit to get there, but it

s breath of fresh your after.
