TLOS4me
I will be doing the first "week" of the Tour de Thailand charity bicycle tour, so if we come touring through your town, and you want to say 'holla', give me a shout. See the info below if you want to give support or want more details. This is a 'virtual' event so feel free to sign up even if you cannot actually be in any of the places I'll be cycling through. Places I'll be riding through: Chiang Mai, Chom Thong, Thoen, Tak, Sukhothai, Phichit, Nakhon Sawan, Singburi, Ayutthaya, Bangkok. Here the itinerary link of the TDT website: http://www.tourdethailand.com/home/?page_id=14 Here the link to the charity we all will be riding for: www.maxaid.com If you'd like to make a taxfree donation to the charity in suppport of my ride, you're more than welcome to do so! Please state that you are donating in support of 'Glen Craigie'. If you do decide to make a donation, please take the time to PM me so that I can at least figure out how to thank you some how... I hope to see or hear from some non-BKK area TF members next week. Don't be shy!

TLOS4me
Shame I wont be there til 9 Dec.Hmm is it too late to donate now? :? Hi Smiley, It's never too late to donate! Any and all help is appreciated, I still have to raise USD325, about 12,000 baht, that I've commited myself to pay the charity in order to do this event. Any shortcoming I'll have to pay outa my own pockets, and they are not as deep as they used to be! Any donations can be made directly to The Max Foundation (TMF) and are 100% tax deductable in the USA. I'm not sure about the tax laws in Europe so I cannot make any promises about that. Although the money goes to TMF in the USA, it gets used in Thailand to help people here with Lukemia. Additionally, money raised on the ride will go directly to the Thai Foundation for the Blind, to help them provide vocational training for blind people in Thailand. Anyways, the ride will start tomorrow morning and I'll be back in Bangkok on the 12th. I'm lucky that my Thai boss, Dr. Somdech, has allowed me the time off to do this event. So, bottom line, it's not too late to donate! www.maxaid.com if you do donate, please make it in my name, Glen Craigie. Too bad we're not riding past Pak Chong or I'd be sure to stop by and say hello! Gotta go now... Cheers! Glen :-)
