Hi all!

As our house is getting closer and closer to its finishing date, I would like to ask you (and especially those who already finished and furnished a house or appartment), if you could give me any hints where to find the following in the Bangkok and/or Rangsit areas:

- Manufacturers of security doors European style

- Manufacturers of noise-reducing and thermo-protection windows and glass doors

- Manufacturers of window shutters

I already found one company in Pattaya, but if there is something closer to Rangsit, I would be greatful!

- Construction company for dry construction (you know, this thingy with mineral wool and plaster carton)

- Dish washers

They don't have any at Power Buy in World Center. Well, I found some at Emporium, but only at gold prices

- And finally: Who knows a reliable carpenter who makes furniture (like kitchen etc.) to order at a good price?

Obviously you didn't get at all what I meant with this post. And to my understanding, a security door is not necessarily a sign of showing off wealth - and in my case it is definitely not! So why don't you just read and try to understand the written words instead of trying to interpret something in between the lines that is not there??? Let apart the other paragraphs that you didn't mention because they just didn't fit in your obvious prejudice...

That's sad, guy, and I have the slight suspicion that you are trying to reflect (some of) your weakness(es) on me, whom you do not know at all. Especially, as you put your "judgement" without even bothering to get some basic information by looking at my profile. This tells a lot!!! :( Or did you just have a bad evening?

There's a guy in Chonburi who can make the glass you need but it doesn't come cheap.

May I have his address? I know that this kind of stuff gets pretty close to European prices, but on the long term, I think it will pay back (save of energy, may be even rates of insurance etc.)

Yes. Sorry.

In fact I only read the first 2 lines.

(There's a couple of lessons to be learned here folks. I.e., Don't write more than 2 lines if you wish not to be presumed. And, don't presume anything of anyone who writes more than 2 lines. )

It's ok. But maybe you also should learn a lesson as most journals here are longer than two lines.....
